On 15 October, as part of Erasmus Days 2026, VET4DATACOOPERATION joined the online roundtable “Beyond Project Boundaries: Sharing, Connecting and Collaborating.” The session was hosted by the Open Teach C-Hub and brought together Erasmus+ projects from school education, entrepreneurship and vocational training to share results and look for ways to work together.
Over 90 minutes, four projects presented their work. Recorded contributions from teachers on their Erasmus+ mobility experiences followed, and the session closed with an open roundtable on shared challenges.
BRIDGES: connecting curriculum, teachers and school policy
BRIDGES focuses on teaching for sustainability citizenship. The project brings together 11 partners from seven countries: Germany, Sweden, Cyprus, Greece, Portugal, Ireland and the Netherlands. It is coordinated by the Institute of Education Policy in Greece, and its partners include the University of Bayreuth, the Cyprus Ministry of Education, Dublin City University among others.
BRIDGES links mind, values and action. It aims to build a sense of belonging and personal agency in pupils and to connect learning with social and economic systems. The work moves from the classroom out to the community through a whole-school approach, green learning ecologies, open schooling and living labs. Teachers are trained to bring existing approaches into their own settings. The resulting models will then be tested and included in school curricula, designed according to universal design and IDEA principles. Twenty best practices are already collected on the BRIDGES good practices webpage.

L2BGreen: case-based learning for green entrepreneurship
L2BGreen: Learning to Be Green is a project that supports entrepreneurs in adopting practices in line with the European Green Deal. It involves nine partners from the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Slovenia, Estonia and Germany. The project consortium has developed 20 business cases on crisis, environment, innovation and sustainability, available in five languages on its website and learning platforms. An AI agent called Gaia guides learners through understanding a case, analysing it and reflecting on the discussion.

Learning through mobility
Recorded contributions shared teachers’ experiences of Erasmus+ mobility. Courses for pupils and teachers covered technology, AI, language learning and inclusion, with exchanges in countries such as Italy, Bosnia and Poland, where pupils also learned about the schools and countries they visited. A VET strand took students and teachers to Italy and Poland to learn about aircraft and flight-equipment mechanics, and students were also offered job-shadowing opportunities.
From data to skills in manufacturing
Angela Ivanova of INI-Novation presented VET4DATACOOPERATION under the title “From Data to Skills: Empowering Manufacturing through European Cooperation”. She described the concerns many manufacturers have about data sharing and the Digital Product Passport. Many companies, she said, lock their data away like towers, leaving those who want to collaborate in the role of knights trying to get in. The project aims to replace that fear with certainty.
She shared findings from the project’s needs analysis, which showed that companies’ concerns are mostly about trust, with technical barriers playing a smaller role. Respondents rated control over shared data, real-world examples and strategic value for partners as the most important factors. She also introduced good-practice cases and the project’s media.
Open Teach Collaboration-Hub
The Open Teach Collaboration-Hub is a platform for open education practices, co-creation and collaboration around learning materials and open educational resources (OER). Users can browse a training catalogue, share their educational needs and access resources, including through the imc Express platform. Courses are rated, and experts review materials to improve content quality. An engagement system and calls for collaboration help build a community around the platform. The hub also offers teacher training on collaborative learning and digitalisation, including AI.

Finding common ground
In the closing roundtable, the projects agreed to keep exchanging ideas and to register on each other’s learning platforms. This gives the projects, VET4DATACOOPERATION among them, direct access to more teachers, experts and VET providers.
VET4DATACOOPERATION is an Erasmus+ KA220-VET project developing vocational training on trusted data sharing for the manufacturing sector.
