VET4DATACOOPERATION partners meet in Skopje to review the project’s first year

Oct 30, 2026 | News

The VET4DATACOOPERATION consortium met in Skopje, North Macedonia, on 27 and 28 October for a two-day meeting hosted by the Macedonian Enterprise Development Foundation (MEDF). The first day reviewed the project’s first year. The second turned to the next phase, from testing the training modules to planning workshops and a Digital Magazine.

The six partners, from Germany, Austria, Slovakia and North Macedonia, are developing vocational training on trusted data sharing for the manufacturing sector. Halfway through the project, the meeting in Skopje was a chance to reflrect and agree how the work should come together over the coming months.

Looking back at year one

The first day went through each work package in turn. Partners reviewed progress on project management, including deliverables, milestones and reporting obligations, as well as open issues to resolve. They discussed the status of the five training modules currently in development, with a focus on content review and harmonisation across modules.

The group also looked at the collection of good practices and the guidebook based on them, and at the digital learning environment, where interactive modules and platform integration are being prepared. A review of communication and dissemination covered the website, social media, publications and progress against the project’s indicators.

Planning the next phase

On the second day, partners worked through the approach for testing and piloting the training modules, including target groups, recruitment, feedback tools and evaluation criteria. Further sessions covered the concept for the Digital Magazine, a roadmap for completing the good practices and guidebook, preparation for training delivery, and the organisation of upcoming workshops.

Key decisions

The meeting closed with agreement on the next steps:

  • The remaining good practices will be finalised and published on the project website.
  • The first testing of the training content has begun internally.
  • Partners will collect feedback and expert reviews of the content to improve it before wider use.
  • The consortium will organise webinars and events.
  • The project will work with similar projects and experts to raise awareness of data sharing and why manufacturers need it.
